The Old Quarter has never been short of exciting spots that could surprise every Hanoi explorer, from rustic alleyways to voguish bars. A "trip" to Đào Duy Từ Street of mine recently has been an eye-opener time, with many corners and cafes being bombshell to me. My cousin brought me here last week and made such a bold claim that the cafe at 31 Đào Duy Từ Street serves the best coffee in town. To testify my cousin's belief, I tried the hot milk coffee myself, despite not being a coffee expert, but I have to admit that the milk coffee is far different from that in many other cafes in Hanoi. It is a bit sweet, a bit rich, a bit bitter, and a bit tangy, and most importantly, having the perfect coffee aroma. The passion fruit juice is also fresher and has more layers of taste in it: sweet and tart, not bland compared to the juice offered by many Hanoi cafes. I did not try its specialty, iced lemon tea, but I also tried sweet corn dessert, and was not so satisfied with it since the sweet corn was not soft enough. However, above it, it is still a wonderful place to cherish the lovely crowds of the Old Quarter with your bunch of mates.
